# Refreshing Tokenomics

<figure><img src="/files/BYYSIrcHn1umbccNTGDs" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Tokenomics

LEMON is a tax-enabled token with a 5% transaction tax designed to support long-term ecosystem health. Collected taxes are used as an incentive for token buybacks, reinforcing liquidity and aligning ongoing activity with sustainable growth. This mechanism prioritizes stability and participation over short-term speculation, without promising fixed outcomes or returns.

LEMON features a dynamic tax system where the transaction tax drops by 0.1% for every 100,000 LEMON deposited into the vault, meaning taxes decrease as the ecosystem grows. Vault deposits are tax-free, and staked tokens earn 0.01% daily rewards that compound automatically. Withdrawals begin with a 90% tax that decays by 2% per day, reaching zero after 45 days. The team has staked 600M LEMON, aligning long-term incentives with the community.
